Kodokan Kendo Club is located in Rickmansworth Herts. and was founded in 1980 by Paul Budden 7th Dan Renshi, a registered NAKMAS Senior Instructor & MKF International Coach, The dojo, situated at the Royal Masonic Girls School, is the home of the Kodokan International Kendo Seminar led annually by sensei Masatake Sumi 8th Dan Hanshi, one of the most widely respected teachers in the Kendo world today.

It is also the resident club of Matsumoto sensei 7th Dan Kyoshi - BKA Chief National Coach 2007- 2009

Kendo can be practiced safely by all and provides many benefits for those who practice it. Infomation regarding junior members from the age of
9 - 17 years can be found here. Please contact us for more information or come along to the club to watch and talk with us. We try our best to make visitors feel welcome and answer any questions you may have.
