Next Induction Course
The next 6 week induction course will commence on Wednesday the 25th June. Enrolment will be held at the Friday 20th June session (Starts 7:00pm). Lessons will all be Wednesday 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Any questions or to confirm an interest in attending please email paul.budden@kodokankendo.org.uk. Course fee to be paid at registration.

Mumeishi 3's
Congratulations to the Kodokan Ladies team for their performance in the Mumeishi 3's this year. The team reached the quarter finals losing narrowly to St. Etienne B but picked up the Sir Frank Bowden team spirit award, repeating the feat of a Kodokan A team from 2003.

Grading Results
Congratulations to John and Colin for Sandan, Richard for Shodan and Ash for Ikkyu, grading at Kodokan April 6th Congratulations to Sarah Hernandez for passing nidan in Brussels, December 15th

British Open Taikais 2007 Eight Kodokan members went north for the various competitions that make up the British Open and all came back with a medal. In the shiai Sarah Hernandez got a bronze in the ladies open while in the kata competition the 4 pairs achieved gold (John Bates, Lesley Molloy), silver (Kazuyo Matsuda, Sarah Hernandez) and both bronzes (Carl Ranger, Adrian Wagstaff and Adam Jackson, Colin Porter). Congratulations to all.

National Kendo Squad training Schedule (At Kodokan unless otherwise mentioned)

Times Saturdays Mens and Ladies 2 to 5pm. Sundays 10am to 1pm
Juniors Saturday 10-1:30 and are welcome to stay for the mens and ladies practice
